Imagen
Hello everyone!. How are you? I am very well. In this ocassion I talk about the subject that enjoy studing. My favorite subject is " Social History of Chile", this course analyzes the social history of the country, but not from a classical perspective, it seeks to reconstruct milestones from the viewpoit of subjects from the popular word. I enjoy studing this subject because it helps me to understand the origin of phenomena that ocurre to this day. Also, I have lernend about how subjects have acquired qualities to organize and associate, and how they have become politicized. Another important thing I leraned was how people acquire the capaity to build models of society different from the traditional ones. Before starting this course I Was very excited and expectant.  I always knew that "Social History of Chile" would be a subject that I would like, since I had been interested in history in general for a long time. Thanks you for reading this post.  Bye.✌

Hello everyone. How are you? To day I will talk about the journal "Critical and Radical Social Work", this is a webside that promotes debate within the discipline of Social Work. This journal addresses themes such as global neoliberalism in social welfare; social work and social movements; social work, inequality and oppression; and global social problems such as war and climate change. I have been visiting this website frequently lately, as it is a journal that deals with very interesting topics and is good tool for university work. Certainly anyone can visit this site, but especially those who are studying social work or already practicing the profession, as it is a great place to learn more about social work,  and to read about global issues and phenomena that affect us all .    Thank you for reading my post.     I leave the link in case you want to visit the journal. https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/tpp/crsw Bye.

How can my major make the world a better place? - Social Work

Imagen
Hello Community! In this occasion I will talk to you about how Social Work contributes to the creation of a better world. In the first place, Social Work is a profession and discipline that promotes the social development, and together with people,  creates tools  to achieve this goal. For me it would be very gratifying to contribute in some way to improve social conditions, and to diminish the inequality present in our country. I would like to work in the area of childhood, with children whose human rights have been violated. Throughout its history, Social Work has been concerned with defending the human rights in Chile and the world, it has also worked to achieve greater social justice and has been involved in critival reflection on the repressive structures that hinder the development of people. Social Work promotes the liberation of people, This undoubtedly benefits the world! Thank you for reading this post!😄 Bye.

Hi everyone! How are you? I am very well, and I hope you are too. On this occasion I will tell you about the story of a photo that is meaningful for me. In this picture I am with my friends on the San Cristobal hill. I see this image and I can remember how nice it was that day, it is important for me because, it was one of the last rides we did together before the arrival of the pandemic. We went on this rides when we were in the third grade of high school during the winter vacations. I remember that after this photo was taken, the group split in two smallers groups, and it was difficult to find each other again. Then when we got together we walked along a trail and a lot and some very amusing things happened to us. Thank you for reading this blog! Bye😊

My favorite food

Hi community! Today I will tell you about my favorite food, the lasagna 😍. When I was Little girl my dad would prepare this food for me, and now I prepare it. To make lasagna it is necessary to prepare a bolognese sauce and a bechamel sauce. And we must fill a bowl with layers of bolognese sauce and lasagna pasta, I add in the last layer bechamel sauce and cheese. Finally we must put the lasagna in the oven. I like lasagna because it is really delicious, I love the mixture of the bechamel sauce with the bolognese sauce. I think that lasagna in not harmful to our health if we eat an portion that is adequate to our nutritional requirements.  Thanks for reading this post! I hope you share the love for lasagna 😄

Time went by, I changed my mind and when I was fifteen yers old I liked dentistry, because I went to the dentist fot orthodontic treatment and I found the work entertainig. Hower, one day I met my friend´s cousin and she told me about her work and I got to know Social Work, at the moment I discovered that it was a profession that would allow me to help people, particularly with the issue of inequality. This is how I applied to the Social Work program at the University of Chile.  My experience with the carrer has been quite good, I think I made the best choice, because I am passionate about contributing to social change. However, university life in pandemic has been a bit difficult....

I use it for many activities, for example when I need to communicate with my family or friends, also I use my phone to read news or information on topics of interest to me, so I can learn new things. In the pandemic, the telephone has allowed me to be in contact with people, and social networks such as WhatsApp helped me to meet and talk to my new university classmates. I like the cell phone for its versatility, I can get information with it, and it also entertains me. If didn´t have a cell phone my life and daily activities would be more difricult.
